Important update for veterinarians regarding CE and license renewal!!
If you have not completed the 24 hour CE requirement by June 30, 2020 you must request a 6 month waiver at the time of license renewal. (There is a box on the renewal form) You must complete the required 24 hours of CE by the end of the 6 month waiver period to continue to have an active license to practice in North Dakota.
We understand that in person CE is not occuring at this time and many CE seminars are being offered through virtual formats. If you have been unable to complete the CE requirements as stated in Article 87-02-01-04 (Board Rules) due to COVID-19 and must utilize technology based methods to complete the CE required for license renewal, you must submit a written request to the board for a CE waiver no later than 12/31/2020. The NDBVME will consider these requests on an individual basis. (If you have completed 24 hours of CE but more than 8 hours have been through virtual formats)
Please contact the NDBVME office if you have questions.
Note: This site does not allow you to search by county for all veterinarians licensed in the state of North Dakota. The county search provides a list of veterinarians participating in the North Dakota Department of Health's Veterinary Emergency Response Team.
