Sara Lyons, DVM
Executive Secretary

Dr. Sara Lyons has been the Executive Secretary of the North Dakota Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners since August 1, 2019. 

Dr. Lyons graduated from NDSU in 1999 with a BS in Microbiology and earned her DVM degree from Iowa State University in 2003.  She has worked in mixed, small and emergency practices as well as veterinary technician education. 

Dr. Lyons lives near Lisbon with her husband and children where they farm and run a small beef cattle operation.
